The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) has two new partners in South Korea. It signed respective agreements with CUBEBIO, a diagnostic and biomedical company, and Korea’s National Cancer Centre (NCCK). Both partnerships aim at building a better future for global cancer control. 

National Cancer Centre (NCC) was established in 2000. It strives to improve national health and welfare by reducing the incidence and mortality of cancer through research, patient care, education & training, and support for the national cancer control programs. "Vision 2020" is a program that represents the organizations goals into the future, where it fights to protect the Korean people from cancer through innovative research, quality medical care, optimal training of cancer experts, and support for national cancer control programs. 

Leadership in Action Oman - Princess Dina Mired - Leadership development

The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) has selected ten representatives of member organisations to receive grants for leadership development. With the full support of UICC, each awardee will have the valuable opportunity to conduct a ten-day visit to a fellow cancer organisation as a way to further promote closer regional collaboration and impactful knowledge sharing.

Five organisations participating in the Seeding Progress and Resources for the Cancer Community (SPARC) Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) Challenge have been selected to receive top-up grants, with a total of USD 25,000 additional funding to be provided. Through this funding, projects will be able to expand the reach and impact of their activities.
