Helena Linardou is one of the six medical oncologists coordinating the ‘Hellenic Alliance for MBC’ together with Sofia, Eleni, Zenia, Athina and Amanda. Zoe and Elisabeth from the patient volunteer group KEFI complete the W4O-Hellas coordinating committee.

As of 31 October, global health and cancer experts will share their unique expertise at the 2016 Paris Congress, helping to advance cancer control globally and nationally.

Imjai Chitapanarux, 47 years old, is chair of Suandok Breast Cancer Network. This organisation was born in 2008 to a group of radiation oncologists, breast surgeons, medical oncologists and nurses of the Univerity of Chiang Mai, together with healthcare professionals from the upper Northern Thailand. 

The ASCP-UICC Specialized Training Workshop on Cervical and Breast Cancer Diagnostic Techniques and Pathology Services was held on 22-23 September in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

1 October 2016 - Taking place annually throughout the month of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month aims to raise awareness about the disease and raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.

22 September, Madrid - UICC joined the round table organised today by the Spanish Association against Cancer (AECC) to raise awareness on the importance of promoting research as a key component in the fight against cancer, and establish 24 September as World Cancer Research Day.
