Save the date, WHO and UICC Webinar

The World Health Organization (WHO) will coordinate the first periodic Global Report on Cancer (GRoC) to complement the IARC work on the World Report on Cancer.

NCDA Forum 2017

UICC will be attending the 2nd Global NCD Alliance Forum on 9-11 December, 2017, in Sharjah, UAE under the theme Stepping up the pace on NCDs: making 2018 count providing a prime opportunity to unite and mobilise NCD civil society ahead of the 2018 UN High-level Meeting on NCDs.

UICC partner Texas Children’s Hospital together with Baylor College of Medicine’s International Pediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), and the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation are leading a programme to address the lack of diagnosis, treatment and care in pediatric hematology-oncology in southern and east Africa.

At the close of the 2017 World Cancer Leaders' Summit in Mexico City, UICC launched a call to action, inviting cities with populations greater than one million to join a new multisectoral initiative - C/Can 2025: City Cancer Challenge - designed to support cities to take the lead in the design, planning and implementation of cancer treatment solutions.
