The COSA Annual Scientific Meeting is Australia’s premier cancer meeting, held over three days each year, usually in November.

Universal health coverage (UHC) cannot be achieved without the inclusion of cancer services in core benefits packages, as cancer is the second leading cause of mortality globally and a major drive of out-of-pocket spending.  

UICC hosted a Virtual Dialogue on 27 July 2023 looking at why is it so important that UHC plans include a core package of cancer services, built around the needs of patients, and how different actors are working to achieve this. 

UICC hosted a Virtual Dialogue on 20 July 2023 that looks at why cancer detection and diagnosis services can be made accessible and affordable to everyone who needs them by inclusion in universal health benefits packages – and how this can be achieved.   

Aimed at physicians and pathologists working in the field of cancer, the Best of ASCO23 Annual Meeting will be held on August 25-27, 2023 in Lahore, Pakistan.
