World Cancer Day 2020 was one to remember. Supporters from all over made their mark on the day, raising awareness, taking action and inspiring everyone.

C/Can launches 'The City of Tomorrow', a new global campaign to inspire cities in low- and middle-income countries to join C/Can in tackling the world’s growing cancer burden.

On the 4 February back in 2000, World Cancer Day was written into the Charter of Paris Against Cancer. The milestone document was signed in the French capital by the country’s President at the time, Jacques Chirac and the then UNESCO General Director, Kōichirō Matsuura.
