Cancer Coalition Philippines

We are a national patient support and advocacy network calling for the elimination of barriers to cancer care. We are involved in all spheres of advocacy: policy advocacy, budget advocacy, media advocacy and social advocacy. We spearheaded the passage of the National Integrated Cancer Control Act (NICCA) and are now focused on accelerating its full implementation as well as ensuring its localization. We convene multi-stakeholder dialogues, summits, webinars to elevate patients' voices, advance collaborative initiatives and promote strategies for institutionalizing better cancer care at all levels of the health system. We initiate innovative approaches and models of care to facilitate better health outcomes, increased survivorship and enhanced well-being of cancer patients, people living with cancer and the survivors.
