A Virtual Dialogue on the need for convergent thinking from health donors, policy-makers and implementers for successful integration, synergies and continuity of care – what are the gaps for true acceleration towards 90:70:90? A deep dive on the vision of global health convergence and the opportunity to leverage the national response to the global elimination strategy to facilitate a fresh approach to prevention, early detection and timely treatment and palliative care, as well as catalysing movement towards harmonised global efforts for amplifying impact. Held following the 18-24 January cervical cancer awareness week marked by many organisations around the globe, and in the run-up to World Cancer Day on 4th February, this Virtual Dialogue provided a dedicated spotlight on cervical cancer elimination. Cette discussion visait à analyser les opportunités de convergence en matière de santé mondiale et à tirer parti de la réponse nationale à la stratégie d'élimination mondiale pour faciliter une nouvelle approche de la prévention, de la détection précoce, du traitement et des soins palliatifs, ainsi qu'à catalyser le mouvement vers des efforts mondiaux harmonisés pour en amplifier l'impact. Ce dialogue visait à: Faciliter une première conversation ciblée entre les bailleurs de fonds mondiaux vers une approche harmonisée pour amplifier l'impact conformément à la réalisation des objectifs de la CSU et des ODD. Mettre en avant la nécessité d'une approche intégrée des programmes de prévention du cancer du col de l'utérus aux niveaux national et local comme facteur de réussite pour atteindre les objectifs de 2030. Établir une compréhension commune de la nécessité d'une stratégie adaptée et à de multiples facteurs pour améliorer considérablement l'accès aux services de prévention. Organisé à la suite de la semaine de sensibilisation au cancer du col de l'utérus du 18 au 24 janvier, marquée par de nombreuses organisations dans le monde entier, et dans la perspective de la Journée mondiale contre le cancer du 4 février, ce dialogue virtuel a mis l'accent sur l'élimination du cancer du col de l'utérus. Ce dialogue s'est déroulé en anglais, avec une interprétation en français disponible pour les participants francophones.
