Join the Virtual Dialogue 'Addressing breast cancer: How civil society's advocacy drives change' to hear how civil society organisations (CSOs) are improving the early detection of breast cancer and access to treatment at the national level through advocacy.

Delivered in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), this Virtual Dialogue will provide an overview of the Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI) and will include insights and learning from different countries where CSOs are working to advance its implementation through advocacy. It will highlight the role and importance of partnerships and coalitions in these efforts, and share examples of advocacy efforts across different dimensions of breast cancer control. Resources and materials that can practically support CSOs in national advocacy on breast cancer will also be shared during the Dialogue.

The Virtual Dialogues breast cancer series aims to encourage focused discussions among the breast cancer community, and is supported by UICC’s Breast Cancer programme.
