The Signs and Symptoms campaign was launched on International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) in 2014 by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP), and Childhood Cancer International (CCI). The goal of the campaign was to increase knowledge and awareness of childhood cancer signs and symptoms, especially among health workers, and encourage prompt referrals to appropriate health facilities for timely testing, diagnosis, and treatment.
