World Mental Health Day

Help raise awareness on World Mental Health Day.

Header Paragraph

This Friday October 10th is World Mental Health Day. The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world.

This year the theme is 'Living with schizophrenia', which is a severe mental disorder, characterized by profound disruptions in thinking, affecting language, perception, and the sense of self.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) have recently released a video called 'Living With a Black Dog', which is a follow up to their previous video 'I had a black dog, his name was depression'. The video advises those living with and caring for people with depression on what to do, what not to do, and where to go for help.
