SPARC - Metastatic Breast Cancer Challenge grants closing soon

There is just under 2 weeks to go to submit your Letter of Intent to address the needs of metastatic breast cancer patients

Header Paragraph

The SPARC - Metastatic Breast Cancer Challenge is an offer under the umbrella of UICCs Global Education and Training Initiative with the objective of seeding progress and resources for the cancer community that drive sustainable change. The initiative has been developed to provide grassroots support in addressing the unique challenges of advanced breast cancer.

Up to twenty competitively selected organisations will be granted funding to implement novel projects in the areas of advocacy, policy, and education to maximise impact and outreach to women at risk of, or living with stage III or IV breast cancer. We are delighted to welcome organisations to apply from around the world with the goal of achieving lasting impact.

There are two types of grants available:

  • Campaign Grants: 20.000 USD – These aim to stimulate a new area of activity in the field of advanced breast cancer for the recipient organisation
  • Network Grants: 60.000 USD - These aim to support new collaborative activities on a national level or state level to take advanced breast cancer activities to a new level for the recipient organisation

The call for Letters of Intent closes on 19th April 2015.
