The Cancer Atlas, 2nd Edition launched in Russian

Key speakers at the launch event included Dr Mikhail I. Davydov, Chief Oncologist of the Russian Ministry of Health and President of ADIOR*, Dr L.V. Demidov, CEO of ADIOR, Dr Tezer Kutluk, President of The Union for International Control and Dr Otis Brawley from the American Cancer Society. Speakers highlighted key trends and opportunities in the region for cancer prevention and control, including in the areas of cancer registries, patient access to cancer care, and prostate cancer.

The Cancer Atlas is the result of a joint initiative between the American Cancer Society, the International Agency for Research on Cancer, and the Union for International Cancer Control to give the global cancer community a new tool in the fight against cancer. The Atlas provides leaders worldwide with actionable data and insights to make better decisions, in order to work toward putting an end to the cancer epidemic.
