Cary Adams recognised with 2023 International Healthcare Leadership Award from NCHL

Cary Adams, CEO of UICC, is the recipient of the 2023 International Healthcare Leadership Award by the National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL). The award recognises his significant contributions to global healthcare and his dedication to fostering leadership within the sector.

Born in London, Dr Cary Adams has a BSc Honours degree in Economics, Computing and Statistics, a Masters degree (with Distinction) in Business Administration. He is a Harvard Business School Alumni and has received two honorary doctorates for International Relations and Health.  In 2009, Cary made a career change, moving from the management of international businesses in the banking sector to become CEO of UICC. He has since played a leadership role in the NCD Alliance.

The official award presentation will be part of the 2023 Gail L. Warden Leadership Excellence Award Celebration, scheduled for 14 November 2023 in Chicago. The event is expected to bring together more than 250 healthcare industry professionals.
